Good food and good life
It was a wonderful few days in Palm Beach a few days back. People who love island must visit this place in Dubai once in their lifetime. Why? Because it’s a different kind of island. Yes, you read it right. It’s a man made island at the coast of Dubai. The island is designed in the shape of a palm tree. So the place is named as Palm Island. Palm Island also known as Palm Jumeirah is a super cool place to chill out. So, I decided to visit Rixos The Palm resort over a fine weekend with my family to make the most of it. My 3-day stay wasn’t any less than pure indulgence as Rixos The Palm offers an all inclusive package which means you have a full board plan which is not limited to meals. It includes mini bar and unlimited alcohol in the same package. It felt absolutely amazing because you can treat yourself whenever you want. It’s not just with food, you can have unlimited drinks as per your choice too.
The place has the perfect vibe of chill out. There are lots of varieties of food and drinks at the beach and that’s simply the kind of pleasure which you can’t say no to. But if you are different from who I am and skeptical about spending a long time at the beach under the sun, you can actually relax in your room and still enjoy the view of the ocean from there as the resort has many ocean view rooms and suites.
The spa at the resort was also really nice and they offered us a rejuvenating session for an hour.
Even though I’m the kind of person who loves to spend time at the beach, I know people who love staying in the room would thoroughly love staying at Rixos The Palm too as the resort offers a good view of the ocean and the city of Dubai ahead of it
Apart from the ocean vibe, the other thing that totally attracts me is good food. I believe good food and good life go hand in hand. So, the Italian restaurant L’Olivo at the resort Rixos The Palm was me and my family’s ultimate rendezvous. If you are a foodie like me, never miss visiting this place everyday and I emphasize every single day because they have a long list of delicious menu to choose from. So, the more you visit L’Olivo, the more you can order and explore. We wished we get to taste a few more cuisines than what we tasted in our 3-day visit. The quantity was really large for each of the dishes they serve and I’m pretty sure I ended up eating a lot more than I usually do.
Overall, it was a perfect combination of good food and good life at the Palm Jumeirah the whole weekend.
Next, we went to explore another property of Rixos in Dubai. It is situated at the Dubai Marina, JBR. The hotel offers a super luxurious experience and it’s one of the best resorts in Dubai that offers the best view of Dubai or Dubai Marina or Jumeirah Beach. Rixos Premium is considered as another remarkable place for luxury lifestyle lovers. You must stay at their suite if you are in those groups who love to indulge themselves at the fullest when you travel.
The two properties of Rixos The Palm and Rixos Premium are quite different in nature. Rixos The Palm is at the Palm Island which is isolated from the main part of Dubai. Like any typical island destination, it mainly offers you a beach vibe away from the hustle and bustle from the city. Though if you really feel the need to go to the city, it’s not that disconnected either. It’s just a few minutes away. In fact, it could be an ultimate time to plan your drive out and make good use of your super car.
However, on the other hand, Rixos Premium is situated at the most premium part of Dubai which is Jumeirah Beach Residence. It’s one of the most posh areas with all the skyscrapers, luxurious residential buildings and resorts around. If you want to feel the plush city vibe of Dubai, Rixos Premium is your place. Equipped with a spectacular view of the Marina Area from the suite rooms, their concept of a suite is bringing a family closer during their vacation. Their 2-bedroom suite has a gigantic hall that makes sure that the family enjoys their lavish time together with a magnificent view of the blue ocean, plush beach and the sophisticated marina area.
When you are at Rixos Premium, you can have a good time whichever way you choose. When are inside the hotel, you can go to the beach club or you can choose fine dining restaurant. You can enjoy a cool nightclub vibe or a sophisticated dining as per your mood. But JBR is an area of wide choices. You do not need to limit yourself to your resort. The roads are just perfect to flaunt the super cars. So, you can literally reach to any club or restaurant as per your choice in a jiffy. It is another place to offer you both good food and good life (which I really look forward to in a vacation to ease my mind).
Also, if you are planning for a day out in a yacht, this is the best time you plan for it. I would suggest you to plan for your yacht trip when you are staying at the Marina Area as the piers are very close to this area. I have saved a lot of my commute time this way.
Even though Dubai is a place where you can book a yacht ride for yourself and your family at a very cheap cost, I would suggest you to book a private yacht instead of a group trip with the unknown people. It does not offer you the same vibe.
My stay at both the properties of Rixos were really good, so I would highly recommend them. For the super cars, there are a lot of car rentals. I would suggest you to take prices from a few of the car rental service providers and compare them to book yours at the best price. Also, understand the driving rules and insurance part for your safety. I would suggest the same for yacht services too. There are a lot of yacht service providers. As I mentioned before, booking yourself with your family in private is the best choice. But, if you have a tight budget and you are eager to ride a boat and see the places around from the ocean, you might consider a group trip too. But, either ways, do not just enquire with one service provider. I chose Xclusive Yachts but there are many such service providers out there. Find a few good options and choose the ones that best suit your requirement and budget. Good food and good life
