Bali days holidays
The days spent at the pristine location of Bali can be cherished forever. It was such a great mix of all things beautiful that no one would like to come back from this cute little paradise. Bali days will always be remembered for its contrast vibes – in Ubud we met serenity in the midst of jungle and waterfall whereas in Canggu and Seminyak we got beach vibes, long and big waves, club and entertainment. We saw the hills meeting the ocean and creating such a mind blowing sight in Ungasan and we saw a pretty sought after town life in Nusa Dua.
As you already know, I have a special thing for beach properties because I can spend hours listening to the sound of ocean waves and sitting at the beach whenever I feel like… even in late at night. So, obviously beach resort, villas and beach clubs are hotspots for me. Undoubtedly, I spent quite a long time there and made the most out of it.
3 out of the 5 properties me and my family stayed at during our holiday in Bali had ocean view so I could go to bed and wake up looking at the ocean or listening to the sound of ocean and its waves. While talking about the sound of waves, I am literally feeling the sound of waves at Ungasan in my ears where the waves were actually making one of the most adventurous sounds I have heard. It is the place where the big waves were meeting the hills at force and woah, the sound while it was colliding was so adventurous.
We feel lucky to have stayed at one of the most picturesque properties in Bali – Karma Kandara during our stay at Ungasan. The hotel was actually situated at the top of the Ungasan hill and it had a rope way to take the guests down to the beach where Karma Beach Club was situated. Imagine getting straight down from a hill … we never had such a thrilling experience ( you might be knowing it well if you follow mine and my sister Rinkle’s IG Stories ). After a thrilling experience of getting down, we got a chilling experience at the Karma beach itself. People playing beach volleyballs, chilling at the ocean or beach club while listening to the music – it was a great atmosphere there.
The lovely 3 bedroom villa of me and my team with private infinity pool overlooking the ocean was pretty much a contrast from that vibe. It was quiet, serene with ethereal view in front of us. I love how a resort is one stop for your different moods. If you wish to be in private and enjoy tranquility, you have your villa and if you wish to chill, you have the beach club.
Plus, every time we visited the restaurant which is exactly at the top of the hill, the view of blue ocean’s white waves hitting the black rocks of the Ungasan hills took my breath away. It was wonderful to visit Karma Spa as well. Even though a breathtaking view of Karma Kandara kept all my fatigue away, I still visited Karma Spa which won so many awards and accolades for being the best spa. After having a 90-minute rejuvenating massage, we realized why they got so many awards.
As an ardent ocean and music lover, Karma Beach club was my paradise. So, obviously, I didn’t think of any other place but Karma Beach Club to spend my evenings during my stay. The food was great and the atmosphere was magnificent. After my stay in Karma, I felt it was my good Karma that I chose Karma for my stay at Ungasan. The next time I visit Bali, I’m obviously gonna visit Karma.
Oh and there are a lot of more stories from my Bali days and I can’t wait to unfold them. So, keep watching this space.
Lots of love,
Twinkle
