Back to school mood
We are all grown up but we should never let the inner child die. Everyone loves being a kid at heart. I remember when I was a child, it was so fascinating for me to think what would happen when I grow up and what I would do etc, it was immensely frustrating to wonder why it takes so long to grow up!
Now that we are grown up, we cherish those sheer joyful days. The childhood days are such a bliss in everyone’s life that given a chance, we wouldn’t even mind going back to those days. At least I wouldn’t and a few days back, I tried to do the same, for a day.
It was so much fun being dressed up as a school girl. I wore a printed frock style dress which we used to wear a lot in our childhood days. I loved the Scandinavian touch of Ivana Helsinki and this dress was such a good fit to display a good girl vibe. I teamed it up with a pair of white sneakers because of the porcelain white satin collar and sleeve details of the dress.
To accentuate the girlie vibe, I styled it with a black quilted leather handbag from Boutique Moschino which I recently got myself from IfChic. This website has a wide designer collection and each product in their collection compliments my different style game. I love the selective products that If Chic keeps from the wide collection of many luxury designer labels. It kind of makes my job really easy. I have created a wishlist at their website and I am excited to bring home many more pieces from If Chic in this holiday season.
However, to style this look, I was actually thinking like a young school girl. I love many designers but if I think of displaying playful and girlie spirit, I surely can’t miss the name of Moschino. Thankfully, I came across If Chic to get this beauty home. This backpack from the house of Moschino was such a perfect fit for my back to my school look. But it wouldn’t be any less perfect even if I use it in a bad@$$ girl look because of its golden chain strap details and golden studs on the body. I think I must try a different styling with this backpack as well.
Keeping the back to school mood in mind, I kept the hair tied in a high ponytail. I loved wearing this really simple look and I think it’s quite a lively off duty look! What’s your consideration?
