layering game – layer, layered, how to layer clothes
One thing that becomes necessary in our fall look is layering. The quick transformation in the weather this season is sometimes difficult to assume. The warmth in the presence of sun and slight cool vibe post sunset makes us think about how to layer our outfit wisely so that we can deal with the transformation between warm and cool vibe.Playing the layering game with the outfit becomes easy when it’s a casual outing. Here we do have the choice of wearing a denim which is an easy solution to protect our legs from cold. If we don’t feel like making boots a part of our regular look as yet, a denim allows us to wear a covered pump and get adequate warmth when needed. Hence, my wise pick of the day was denim in this look. If you want me to be more specific, I would say it was colored denim though. Fall leaves room for us to wear colors and brighten the environment a little bit as winter is more about neutrals and pastel and monochrome because it’s always about adding more and more layers in our clothing. So, I never wanted to miss the opportunity to display some shades of colors in my fall look with my red denim and green camisole top. I made a layer of comfy jacket on the top of the basics to add the warmth but it’s just as much as I need in this fall weather. This little layered look keeps its minimalistic approach in the presence of this black cardigan, gray Zara pumps and beige Alexander Wang bag. The presence of the colors like gray, black and beige helps making the whole combination subtle. The whole look has its extremely casual vibe in the presence of colors in the casuals and that’s fitting to most occasions.
