night out – girls night out, ASOS, Charles & Keith, DKNY
It was midweek but I was in my weekend mood. There was a special invitation I had to attend on Wednesday. It was the pre-opening bash of a wonderful cafe bar named Whatsup. So I was all set to play my dress up game before heading for the night out. I was in a fabulous mood that day and you have already seen it on Snapchat.To match up to my electrifying mood and lively energy, I chose blue to be the colour of that day. Not only the color is vibrant, it has a lot of youthful energy in it which perfectly suits a party mood. To ensure that the color of my dress grabs all the attention, I chose this dress. But the halter neck design, mini length and body con type make the whole appeal of this dress quite sensuous.
Since the color of the dress makes everyone conscious about its fit, the body con texture comes out as a safe option. Even though I’m not a big fan of body hugging fabric, but here this makes a perfect choice as it offers a smart fit. Since I was heading for the party, the occasion was quite fitting to wear one. Off late, I’m not adding accessories in my look because I am finding the accessories added with my dress. In the last blog Fashion Art in Casual, I didn’t feel the need to add a neckpiece as my top was already showing a crafty work around the neck making it look like a neckpiece.
In this dress too, the silver spring tubes in my halter neck straps also look like a necklace. It was just a pair of diamond ear stud and a watch from DKNY and a couple of cuffs in blue and silver color which I used in this look as accessories.
The blue shade of mini cross body bag from ASOS goes really well with this blue dress and to make it an absolute contrast, I’m wearing a very trendy pair of leopard print high heel pumps from Charles and Keith. Each of the things in this look wonderfully compliment each other which is so important to me. Thus, my look already made my mood perfect even before the night out started.
