lightly dressing ideas – Zara, ASOS, Nordstrom, Revolve clothing
It’s autumn here. Fall is just around the corner and there’s still some time to enter the days with a little chill vibe. It’s a perfect time to wear a shirt dress as the weather is pretty perfect to nurture lightly dressing ideas and wear lightweight outfits at this time of the year. On the other hand, my second home Australia is all set to welcome the summer. It is slowly starting to offer the warmth. So inspired by all these factors, I’m sharing some lightly dressing ideas when I am wearing a look in shirt dress.
I like the cross situation in the weather and specially when it almost feels the same way in different regions. It is a transition from summer to fall here and winter to spring there in Australia and many other southern parts. Currently most of the places have been pleasant which is why it is perfect to pick this season to try out something that’s gonna match up current weather and the weather in the days to come.
The look I’m sporting here reflects an appealing street style which looks after the comfort part very seriously. The minimalism in this look is the most noticeable part. A minimalistic look is more dependent on its details. Similarly, the details in this look holds a big value. This lightweight (next to my own skin) shirt dress is nothing but an instance of a proper chic style. Shirt dress is in trends and it deserves all the hypes it is getting. These kind of ideas of lightly dressing feels pretty casual yet very sporty, stylish and cutting edge type. It brings the chic street style personality and also looks very attractive to those who admires bohemian style. It’s a fair balance between an edgy style statement and comfort. The satin shirt dress brings a bright silky finish in this look. Instead of making it sleeveless or half sleeves, I have designed it with wing sleeves pattern. Wing sleeves are my most facourite thing. Not only does it give an angelic feeling but its wide cut ensures much needed comfort as it offers enough ventilation. The short length of this dress and deep v neck plays the peek-a-boo game very smartly. The fluffy bottom brings wide cut which is comforting enough in a summer or autumn weather. I’m pairing this dress with a casual pouch purse bag and a tan wedge heel sandals from Zara. Tan fringes attached to the tan sandal partners with the street style appeal to create a combination to take into account. Since the look has a fair bit of boho touch in it, I have actually reflected the bohemian style with the shoes and accessories. Notice the clever addition of boho cuff bracelet, bangles and rings in this look to make a rocking concoction.
Lots of love,
Twinkle
