Just read on:
There are primarily a few kind of face structures – oval, oblong, heart, diamond, square and round.
To determine which category your face belongs to, you must measure a few parts.
From top to bottom or face length Start measuring from the beginning of your forehead ( from the middle parting of your hair) take the tape straight down till the end of your chin (yes, touching the tip of your nose). Note down the measurement.
Forehead width Measure the distance between the left side of your forehead to the right side. Make sure you measure this width while placing the tape in the middle length of your forehead.
Temple area width This is the width of two sides of the face over the eye area (from the hairline beside the left eye to the hairline beside the right eye). Note it down as well.
Measure the distance between the two cheekbones Start measuring the width from the area where left cheekbone starts, take it over the nose and touch at the ending point of right cheekbone (cheekbone area is exactly beneath the under eye area).
Side Jawline Measure the jawline which starts from the end part of your ear (just below your earring spot where ear ends) to the middle of the chin. Note that.
Face Shape Determination
Oval face
If the face length is double the width of two cheekbones (distance between the two cheekbones).
Oblong face
Oblong face is very similar to oval face. But oblong face has a bigger face length than oval. Actually, the difference between face length and cheekbone width is more than double. And forehead width, side jawline and cheekbone width is almost the same.
Heart face
When the forehead width and cheekbones distance are wider but jawline is narrow, it is considered heart shape.
Diamond face
When the face shows very sharp angles. Here the temple area width is bigger, jawline is angular (and long)
Square face
The difference between the length of the face and the width between the two cheekbones are minimum. The jawline is sharper than a round face but overall the length of face, forehead width, cheekbone width and jawline have almost equal measurements.
Round face
The length of face and forehead and cheekbone width is pretty same and no visible angular structure is present at the jawline area, it is a round face.
