Les Bleus – Allez Les Bleus, ASOS, Okaley
Summer is at its peak these days. Whenever I am observing people to have a discussion, I’m realizing that scorching sun & heat have taken the headlines. How to beat the heat and what to wear in a sultry summer day have become very famous & much discussed topic presently.
Though I agree that shooting in such heat becomes a little challenging but if one gets the perfect summer dress which is short, light weight, frilly, made of light fabrics, vibrant prints and beautiful textures… cooling off becomes easy despite being outside in the hot summer weather. Hence my les bleus look in blue dress and accessories is pretty useful here.
If you consider summer’s high temperature, this dress is near perfection. It’s a fine navy blue polka dot frilly baby doll dress which I teamed up with a pair of blue polka dot flats. But it would look good in sneakers too. So if you want to add a little sporty vibe, remember France National Football Team who are popularly known as les bleus and go for a pair of polka dot sneakers (I’ve shared the link to the product above in the ‘Outfit Details’). My blog title is inspired by les bleus only. So its apt to add the sporty vibe. However, to keep my all-blue combination going I have accessorized the look with vibrant electric blue small cross-body bag and blue-silver bracelet.
In summer, less is more. Hence, it’s preferable to wear minimum accessories and minimal makeup to stay in comfort.
A little orange shade of eyeshadow, mascara and orange lipstick did it all to enhance my casual outing look in the hot weather.
I know everyone’s feeling the heat but if you wear it right, you can enjoy any season at the fullest.
